Boy Troubles...need advice from the guys?

Hi,

see I have this friend and we've known each other for like 3 years now, and we've always done the whole flirting thing, we get along really well, and he always tells me how hot I am. and I trust him like no one else and vice versa sometimes we just talk for hours.

See the problem is whenever either of us hints that we should go out the other always pulls back. its like we dont want to ruin the friendship so we dot even chance it.

Today I was talking to him and I asked if he had gone to the dance last nite ( i didn't) and he said ya and I noticed u weren't there, and I was like yea but didn't your friends all go and he said ya but it would have been better if you where there.

now I know this isn't hinting that we should go out but this is how he always starts it, so this time how do I make sure neither of us pulls away? any tips?Boy Troubles...need advice from the guys?
I would suggest you trying talking lightly into a convo with him like remind him how you guys will always be friends no matter what. Then truly let him know the way he makes you feel how great that feeling is. Let him know you really love him and doing this could be the greatest thing that happened to you both. Just say you wanna take a chance with him and anything that can make you feel so good can't be wrong and say you love him and don't let him shy out of it. Hold his hand and ask him to take a chance with you because it's what you want and what he really wants.Boy Troubles...need advice from the guys?
If your both into each other I can't see a reason not to go for it. Be upfront and tell him that you like him. However maintain the point that you don't want to ruin your friendship.

If he starts to pull away ask why. Be open about it.
Just go for it, it sounds like the two of you get along really well so I don't see why going out would be a bad thing. They always say friends make better partners anyway, you already know so much about each other.
you just have to go for it. Say ';ok let's stop doing this little dance and give it a try.'; maybe promise each other to give each other room afterwards if it doesn't work out, or to stay friends.
well this is a hard one, you could just ask him out on like a little date
