does anyone know about chevy luminas? or dodge neons? the lumina has 76000 with the 3100 motor is that a good car? the neon has been rebuilt and is only $1200,its a 97. witch one?Hey guys I need some more advice.?

lumina...stay away from neons unless you know its history.
luminas over the neons I had a neon (95) it kept braking down!! I was issued a chey lumina for town driving had it for 4 years no problums.

the luminas with the 3.1 L engine are known to be good motors. I am almost positive that the engine in the neon hasnt been fully rebuilt because a full engine rebuild will cost over 1000 in labor and parts. if your going to go for the neon ask for the paperwork on the engine and such. Good Luck.

I got rid of a similar car with 110K on it for $900.00 that needed a little work. Have it pass inspection before you buy it, just to make sure. That will eliminate any quick, upfront repair costs you may incur if it's not inspected. Once you buy it, it's typically yours, lemon or no lemon.
